KURSUS ASAS KEJURULATIHAN FUTSAL TAHAP 0 (ASAS) - ZON UTARA

Vikings Futsal Malaysa (VFM) dengan kerjasama MY Futsal Sdn Bhd akan mengadakan Kursus Kejurulatihan Futsal Tahap 0 (Asas) bagi Zon Utara seperti Perak, Pulau Pinang, Kedah dan Perlis. Kursus ini akan diadakan di MY Futsal, Ipoh pada 9-10 April ini mulai jam 9.00 pagi hingga 5 petang.

Kursus ini adalah terbuka kepada lelaki dan wanita warganegara Malaysia yang berumur 20 tahun dan keatas. Yuran penyertaan akan dikenakan sebanyak RM200 (tidak termasuk yuran keahlian VFM) untuk setiap peserta yang ingin menyertai kursus ini. Antara subjek yang akan diberikan ketika kursus adalah seperti Latihan Pemanas Badan, Latihan Kecergasan, Latihan Asas Kawalan Bola, Latihan Asas Hantaran Bola, Latihan Asas Gelecek Bola, Latihan Asas Penjaga Gol dan Latihan Kemahiran Futsal Individu.

Malaysia will find the going tough to retain overall title

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian contingent for the Asean University Games have a considerable number of national athletes but they will find the going tough to retain the overall title.

Malaysia will be represented by 233 athletes in the biennial Games, which will be held in Chiang Mai from Dec 15-22.

And they will be involved in 15 of the 16 sports in the programme – athletics, badminton, basketball, beach volleyball, football, futsal, golf, karate, sepaktakraw, swimming, taekwondo, table tennis, bowling, volleyball and silat.

THE challenge has begun for Muhammad Zaky Zulkifli, Malaysia’s representative, for the Global Trials in London in January to join the Nike Football Academy.

The 20-year-old who played for Johor in the President’s Cup football competition two years ago was named as Malaysia’s candidate after a two-day trial organised by Nike Malaysia at the National Sports Council (NSC) Training Centre in Bukit Jalil recently.

I did it!: Muhammad Zaky has plenty to cheer about as he was named the winner of the trials.

Youngsters eat, breathe and sleep Brazilian football

Five Malaysian youngsters were on cloud nine when they set foot at Teresopolis in Brazil.

Despite a tiring 24-hour flight, from Kuala Lumpur via Singapore, Doha, Sao Paulo and finally Rio de Janerio, the five — Mohamad Ali Mahat, Afif Najui Muhamad Izwan, Mohd Shahnuriman Hamid, Muhammad Sheqal Salim and Abdul Rahman Satuki — had reason to feel on top of the world.

After all, Teresopolis is a quiet town, about 900m above sea level and about an hour drive from Rio de Janerio.

FAM bans women's team from all international meets

PETALING JAYA: The FA of Malaysia (FAM) have decided to ban the national women’s football team from international competitions next year.

The move comes in the wake of the two huge defeats they have suffered in the ongoing Laos SEA Games.

The Malaysian team lost 0-14 to Thailand and 0-8 to Vietnam.

KALAU pasal bola sudahlah Yang Berhormat (YB)...banyak lagi isu yang belum dijawab. Soal bola ini YB Menteri lebih minati daripada bajet," keluh Yang Dipertua Dewan Rakyat, Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia ketika sesi penggulungan perbahasan Rang Undang-undang Perbekalan 2010 peringkat dasar oleh Kementerian Belia dan Sukan, semalam.

Namun, tegurannya itu tidak dihiraukan Ahli Parlimen yang tetap mempersoalkan prestasi bola sepak negara, kemudahan yang ditawarkan termasuk perihal ketiadaan gelanggang bola sepak di kampung atau kawasan pedalaman yang dikait dengan kemerosotan prestasi itu.

Sesi penggulungan itu yang mencabar kesabaran Menterinya, Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek bermula apabila beliau menjelaskan kerosakan dialami Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil akibat tindakan liar penyokong Kelantan ketika perlawanan akhir bola sepak Piala Malaysia, Sabtu lalu.
