(2010.3.20)SAO PAULO (AP) — A futsal player has died during a match in Brazil after a piece of the court's wooden floor came off and struck him in the abdomen.
Globo's G1 Web site says 23-year-old Robson Rocha Costa died of hemorrhagic shock Sunday, a day after the accident in a friendly match in southern Brazil.

The Sports Barn Futsal League will be commencing 24 March 2010. Named the Milo Cup, this is the 7th edition of the League. Teams will be playing weekly matches in a league format. Each game is 30 minutes in duration. In addition to the League matches and play off games to determine the winner, there will also be an FA Cup tournament for participating teams.
This league is the perfect opportunity for competitive teams to play competitive games on a weekly basis. KEMAMAN: The disrespect shown by Indonesian fans to the country’s national anthem Negaraku during an Asian Football Confederation futsal match in Jakarta has drawn flak from Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek.
While expressing his disappointment, he said the action by the Indonesians to disregard the Negaraku, which was played before the match between Malaysia and Vietnam, could affect the cordial diplomatic ties between both countries.

THE fifth season of the Milo Hidup Bola Sepak futsal carnival kicked off with a bang at the Sports Planet Futsal Complex in Ampang recently.
The first leg, featuring the boys’ Under-12, boys’ Under-16 and women’s categories, attracted 144 teams. The biggest surprise was the participation of 30 teams, surpassing the targeted 24 teams, in the women’s category.
Teams from Malacca and Johor added to the excitement of the carnival. The presence of parents, who had accompanied their children, was an encouraging sight.

Vietnam tumbang 4-1 di tangan Australia pada satu lagi perlawanan separuh akhir.
