PENGURUS pasukan ACR2, Romzi Ismail yakin anak buahnya mampu mempertaruhkan aksi terbaik mereka apabila turun beraksi pada penampilan pertama di Karnival Futsal i-Metro Zon Selatan, pada 18 dan 19 Julai ini.
Karnival yang akan berlangsung di Sports Prima, Futsal Center, Johor Bahru itu bakal memulakan saingan pada 17 Julai ini, menawarkan hadiah lumayan untuk dimenangi selain mencari 24 pasukan lagi ke Grand Final.
Romzi berkata, biarpun pasukan utamanya iaitu ACR1 gagal menempah tiket ke Grand Final, beliau tetap yakin terhadap kemampuan skuad ACR2 kerana masing-masing mempunyai kelebihan berbeza selain mengharapkan tuah memihak kepada pasukan itu.
“Jika dulu kami hanya menghantar satu pasukan untuk mencuba nasib dan biarpun gagal, saya tidak pernah menyerah kalah, malah kali ini pasukan kami lebih yakin dan berharap kedua-dua pasukan iaitu ACR1 dan ACR 2 dapat mara ke Grand Final.
BINTULU: Bintulu Maksak women’s and men’s futsal teams finished second and third respectively in the competition held in Kuching on June 20 and 21.
There were 26 teams for men and eight for wo-men.
Bintulu Resident Ismail Mohd Hanis congratulated the two teams after he was handed the trophies to be kept at his office.
He said the teams deserved to win second and third placings as they had trained hard for the competition.
“I hope the other teams will emulate them when representing the Division in national competitions,” Ismail said before receiving the trophies from team manager Carol Bungan.

CF Angah memperagakan aksi mantap membantu mereka mengungguli Cabaran Bakat Futsal Hulu Bernam 2009 (CBFHB) selepas menewaskan Putra Bidor FC 2-1 melalui penentuan sepakan penalti selepas kedudukan terikat 0-0.
CBFHB anjuran JKKK Hulu Bernam mendapat kerjasama erat A&B Sports, Nestle/Milo dan Kelab Sukan SportsUnite berjaya menggamit penyertaan 40 pasukan seluruh negara.
Pada separuh akhir, Putra Bidor FC menang tipis 1-0 ke atas Park Oz FC manakala CF Angah mengalahkan Inter Malim 3-1. Pasukan lain berada kelompok lapan terbaik ialah PPSMI FC, Putra FC Slim River, Wawasan B dan Sri Serendah FC.

PIRANHA FC, a football academy from Terengganu, emerged as the champions in the Under-16 category of the 10th leg of the Milo Hidup Bola Junior futsal carnival at the KB Futsal Centre in Pengkalan Chepa, Kelantan recently.
They beat Scorpions FC with a convincing 4-0 scoreline in the final. Both teams will be Kelantan’s representatives in the grand finals in Kuala Lumpur on July 26.
In the Under-12 category, the final between Setara FC and Klinik Pergigian Famili Football Club was an interesting affair.

STYLO Mylo Blue dari Johor membuktikan kehebatan mereka apabila mengungguli Karnival Futsal Milo Hidup Bola 2009 (KFMHB) siri ke-11 kategori Bawah 12 tahun di Sports Planet Cheng, Melaka selepas membenam Sri Remaja Jr FC dari Selangor 1-0 pada perlawanan akhir.
Mereka layak ke grand final pada 26 Julai ini di Ampang Sports Planet. Paling menarik mereka turut mengiringi ‘abang’ mereka, Stylo Mylo Red yang telah pun layak pada siri pertama KFMHB di Sports Planet Subang Grand, April lalu.

PASUKAN Adigun B muncul juara Pertandingan Futsal Amal Piala PKNM sekali gus membolot wang tunai RM2,500 di HTO de Futsal, Subang Jaya, kelmarin.
Kejayaan pasukan pilihan itu sudah dijangka biarpun diberi tentangan hebat oleh Pemuda FC pada final yang berakhir dengan kemenangan tipis 1-0.
Selaku naib juara, Pemuda FC membawa pulang wang tunai RM1,500 diikuti ketiga Adigun FC (RM1,000) dan keempat JPN (RM500).

KUALA LUMPUR: The AFC Futsal Club Championship 2009, due to be held in Isfahan, Iran next month has been postponed. No new dates have been confirmed.
AFC has been closely monitoring the security situation in Iran and decided on Friday to postpone the tournament, which was scheduled from July 4-11.
The tournament was to feature the leading futsal clubs from 10 AFC countries: New South Wales Thunder (Australia), Wuhan Dilong (China), Foolad Mahan Sepahan (Iran), Newroz Sports Club (Iraq), Nagoya Oceans (Japan), AUB Altyn Tash (Kyrgyzstan), Pro’s Café (Lebanon), Al Sadd (Qatar) and Port Authority of Thailand (Thailand).
It was to be the first-ever AFC championship for futsal clubs.

DREAM Team became the netball champions in the six-week Unity-Rakan Lifestyle league at Dataran Remaja (Youth Square) in Bukit Jalil recently.
In their final league match, Dream Team were in command against X-Pload, winning 26-18 to complete the fixtures with a maximum 28 points from nine matches. X-Pload were second on 26 points while Proteen finished third with 24 points.
The Unity League was organised by the Sports Ministry’s Rakan Muda department and SportsUnite Sports Club.

Dua gol awal pasukan KTT FC pada minit pertama dan kedua perlawanan nyata menyentap semangat pemain-pemain War’s 15 hingga mereka bagaikan hilang fokus walaupun berjaya membalas 1 gol untuk mendekatkan jarak jaringan pada separuh masa pertama.

KUCHING: The two day MAKSAK (Majlis Kebajikan & Sukan Angota-angota Kerajaan Sarawak) Futsal Competition ended on Sunday at the Sports Planet, Jalan Semangat with DBKU A emerging the champion in the Men's section while BSN is the champion in the Women's section.
In the Men's final, DBKU beat Kesihatan 2-0. DBKU A beat MAKSAK Bintulu 2-1 to reach the finals while in the other semi finals, Kesihatan beat Kuuport A 3-2 on penalties.
In the Women's section, BSN beat MAKSAK
Bintulu 1-0. BSN beat DBKU 2-0 to reach the finals while in the other semi finals, MAKSAK Bintulu beat DID 2-1.
There were 26 teams in the Men's section divided into five groups for the preliminary rounds while in the Women's section, there were eight teams divided into two groups for the preliminary rounds.
MAKSAK Executive Secretary Dolhadi Hj Mazuki presented the
trophies to the winners after the matches.
